Jeeves & Wooster! Eeeeeeeee! (7/20/09)

Oh. Mah. Gah. P G Wodehouse, where the eff have you been all my life?!? Your idle, somewhat useless gent Bertie Wooster and his omniscient man Jeeves (Jeeves, y'all! The original Jeeves!) are my new bromance heroes. (No offense, Paul Rudd and Jason Segel!) Brilliant? Check. Hilarious? Check. I just devoured Carry On, Jeeves, and now I need to read the remainder of the Jeeves and Wooster canon.

Also, the P G Wodehouse Society has a pretty topping website, complete with a cocktail recommender. "What would Jeeves make?" and all that. I say, old boy, this is rather spiffing stuff, what?

Hee hee. Srsly, I love it! And apparently Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie play Jeeves & Wooster, respectively, in several seasons of a Masterpiece Theatre series, which I am obviously going to need to watch. House, shmouse. It's Wooster for me! My crush is totes on Jeeves, though, y'all. He's very bossy. Word on the street is that I can relate to that.

On an entirely different subject: Kidz are way more awesome when they're British. Observe:

Awww! Chahlie!

And now, I believe one Jeeves has a cup of tea ready for me to begin the day…
